Here is another great patriotic superhero from Exciting Comics no. 25, the source of last month's American Eagle story.

The Liberator was in reality the mild-mannered Prof. Nelson Drew. He transformed into the powerful Liberator with the aid of a substance referred to as "Ancient Egyptian Lamesis." Whatever that was, it granted him incredible strength and speed, as well as a neat costume.

   The Liberator appeared in Exciting Comics nos. 15-30 & 34-35 and America's Best Comics nos. 1, 3-5 & 8.
