Vulcan was a descendant of the fire god with the same name. Like his powerful ancester, he was the master of all flame and heat. He used his amazing powers to fight crime.

Vulcan could control heat and flame. He also demonstrated superstrength and could fly when aflame, similar to the Human Torch, radiating heat which made him lighter than air. He was also bulletproof when powered up, since bullets would melt before they reached his body.

Vulcan appeared in Super Mystery Comics from vol 1 no. 1 through vol. 3 no. 2. He also appeared in Four Favorites 1-3.
