Thanks for checking out the second issue of Pure Excitement Comics. If you missed the first issue, I plan to have a "back issue bin" on-line soon, possibly by next month!
The next "issue" should be on-line sometime around October 15, so check back then! You're more than welcome to make suggestions for future stories, but my Golden Age collection is somewhat limited. I'll try to feature any request I can.
In the mean time, send in those letters to [email protected]. Your letter may be published in a future issue!
Also, please check out my other pages -- especially my Prescription for Excitement! site, which features the best in comic book "in-house" advertising. Also, check out the other links to great sites focusing on the Golden Age of comics (located in the column to the left). And read Golden Age Men of Mystery each month -- it's worth it!
Here's one letter I received in response to the first issue:
Hi. I had to comment on what a fun site it was to visit especially with the obscure Golden Age heroes. It's a shame Bill Black never got the rights to the Black Terror to produce new material since he really knows how to hunt down those obscure heroes. Anyway, I'm bookmarking this baby. Best of luck on your site.

Sincerely, Neil A. Hansen

Thanks for the kind words, Neil! I hope this and future issues live up to your expectations and keep you coming back for more!
Well, that's it for this month. Before you leave, check out this issue's Golden Age Cover Gallery below. See you next month!

Sure, I can't feature stories from MLJ's great line of Golden Age comics on this site (copyright restrictions being what they are...), but here's a look at a MLJ cover from that era. It's Top-Notch Laugh Comics No. 43 and features one of the company's premiere mystery men - The Black Hood!
